  8. So far the RG line has only been from MSG and SEED...

Not gonna stop me from wanting this though!

  9. Not really the biggest fan on SEED mobile suits but this is just fine.
I hope they make a Turn A or Astraea in the future, but chances seem slim.

  15. Where's my RG NU GUNDAM?!?!

  16. Karma frustration aside, I do find it surprising that decided to go with the Freedom for their next RG release. I was expecting the 00, Mk II, or Zeta. Well, we can discount the "releasing all the Perfect Grades in Real Grade first" theory.

  17. wonderfull i just love the pain and frustration people have every time a seed modelkit is released, funny thing is, i dont see anyone ranting about the MG line being milked at full force with Wing EfuckinW's, well my question is... IF Bandai decides too do the same with the GAT-X line of MS from Seed, will you react the same way you did with all this Wing EW milking?

    ReplyDelete
  18. NOOOOO!!!!
i hoped for Zeta, Wing Zero custom or Mk.II damnit.
    fu*king Seed line.

  19. All we need is RG Nu Gundam NOT zeta!!

  20. Anon: It's pretty obvious the Wing/EW milking is for the fifteenth anniversaries of each (the former now sixteen), plus Wing is continuing by way of manga and novel, and they're confident enough to promote it this way... In the middle of Unicorn MGs, of course. If I complain about the RG Freedom upcoming, why do you think it should be a constant to complain about any given Gundam series/universe hogging a model lineup? Universal Century still gets constant love, and I don't see much complaints there either. We all have different tastes and mine is more accepting of Wing MS designs, so therefore I'm grateful of all the GW/EW milking in the middle of Unicorn MGs.

I may not accept SEED as much and would rather they go for the more unlikely (Taylor mentioned Turn A, and I agree with his preference and chances on it), but not only do I not mind it much, I consider that their tenth anniversary is coming up, that SEED is popular, and the math for that is easy. That's why you're seeing a bit more SEED on the RD front, too. At least EW got some love as well, even if my particular choice (a Tamashii Webshop Limited figure) is a near-impossibility for me to get anytime soon, let alone ever.

Besides, the selection for RG is too few for now, and some people are iffy on how fragile all of it is. I might as well save a bit more and grab some MGs or others before considering RG, for now.

  21. bla bla bla, shiiiiiiiit just answer my question, or STFU

    ReplyDelete
  22. I did, and I won't bother repeating it. Now, if you would rather not read at least a good chunk of my reply or if you just want specific answer that adheres to your disliking of Wing (which your double standard-revealing attempt only displays), then look for someone else.

    ReplyDelete
  23. if Bandai does the same with Seed will you hate it or not? simple answer, YES or NO, also nice try putting words in my mouth, let me give you a straight and simple answer, I DONT HATE ANYTHING RELATED TOO GUNDAM, in fact i do have all MG EW's minus Shenlong and you clearly missed the point, i just want too know how hipocrits you guys are, thats all...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh yeah !! My most beloved model ever! MG Freedom was the 1st kit I bought and definately I'm getting this one, too :D.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, Anon, you think standards and consistencies amongst the entire Gundam/Gunpla fanbase has to center around liking/disliking an entire lineup of upcoming Gunpla for a specific grade (if not it's own) coming from a specific anime/manga? Even if it's one they like?

Did you fail to realize that people just align their taste in Gunpla to what their favorite Gundam anime/manga is? Or that they can like some/most MS designs in an anime/manga they like, or vice versa? Personally, I thought everybody would see that as the standard, not a constant of liking everything coming out that has the brand name "Gundam" stuck to it, or suddenly going into love/hate mode when Bandai markets Gundam AGE/Origin/UC/0083/etc. for a specific grade of models or figures.

Again, you want my answer to your question, go search for it in the second paragraph of my first comment here. And good for you for liking all of Gundam. I'm glad, since that means more business for Bandai to make more Gunpla. But I don't assume my tastes and standards for Gundam/Gunpla fit everybody. I know my isn't the standard, otherwise we'd be seeing an RG Turn A being developed, let alone an entire High Grade Correct Century lineup. I'd have a Leo vs. Borjarnon diorama already created if my tastes were everyone else's.

  26. Siroh, I appreciate the effort and intelligence you are putting behind these posts, but I think we should stop feeding the troll.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Excited about this release probably will be my first RG pick up. I personally would love to see a RG Nu gundam, that would be badass with the colour seperation =)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I do agree with that, but I'm just thinking realistically here. (see my pun, real grade, realistically? haha! Okay I'll stop) But I really don't see a RG Nu until they release some of the suits from Zeta in RG.

    ReplyDelete
  29. troll? hum so you´re the ones that hate, become frustrated and im the troll? and you shiro how more can you prove me right? seriously how hypocrit can you be? know the say " dont like dont watch", "not you're taste just move on" but no hipocrits will always be hipocrits, "fuck Bandai for making PG Strike Freedom", "fuck Bandai for not making the RG NU Gundam" ( how dumb this shit is) again im the troll? also is it so hard to respond too my coment? i told you if you dont respond then STFU, just STFU simple. or your great intelligence is so grear that you cant give a simple yes or no answer?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, Anon, it seems hard for you to read my true and honest response. You can type up a comparably thorough one, so why not read in my first comment that I didn't mind SEED getting some love for it's tenth anniversary? Is that simple enough an answer? Or are you just waiting for a "No." even though everyone could've figured out "not minding" essentially means "no"?

I'm beginning to be confused about your logic. Does everyone have to like/dislike all of Gundam? Does everyone have to like/dislike Bandai's marketing strategy of milking out Gunpla (of specific grades) of MS designs from Gundam anime/manga (for whatever reason)? Is it truly neither?

And you're proving my point right: Your taste in enjoying 100% of whatever is branded "Gundam" differs from those that don't, which is at least evident here. People are different, even Anons who randomly go everywhere just to get a kick out of practicing the I.F. theory. I've replied before keeping an open mind thinking you might not be one of those, despite the urge to conclude it (like Tiro has).

Because from what I see, you go in a circle trying to present your logic of how disliking milking of MS designs from one Gundam anime (SEED) and liking other Gundam-related milking (Wing/UC/00) is the worst double standard in the world (because...just because.), even though it's generally been viewed as okay to extend one's like/dislike of a Gundam anime/manga to their related merchandise.

    ReplyDelete
  31. look i already told you, dont put words in my mouth, i never said i like everything related too gundam, i said I DONT HATE, that means i may dislike something, but ranting, become frustrated, hate? cursing Bandai? calling seed fans inferior and a butch of fangirls and faggots, and every fukin time ranting when a Seed PG or MG is released... it pains me too see how fucked up this part of the comunity is, gunpla is for all gundam fans, why cant we just enjoy the hobby? its obvious we cant like everything, but why the hate? dont like move on, if not, you´re just being troll's and most of all true hipocrits

  32. Okay, then we may have some agreement; I don't personally take the fandom too seriously in comparison to others. But it's a given that there will always be someone in any fandom that might fit your basic description. If any actually fits, I wouldn't bother commenting about 'em, and would just stick to the subject at hand.

Now that I mention that, how about your thoughts on RG Freedom, or RG in general?

    ReplyDelete
  33. C'mon guys. RG Freedom wouldn't want us bickering like this. RG Freedom wants us to be friends. RG Freedom wants us to ask "Who is it we should really be fighting against?"

    ReplyDelete
  34. And MG Turn A reminds us that our beloved Gunpla news website isn't the place to start a little war like this. I admit I couldn't help since I wanted to understand, but I don't want a faceful of exploding Gundam Hammer coming at my head. :P

    Okay, I'm really done, now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. about RG Freedom i cant say mutch, will need too see the prototype pics first, but im happy about the annoucement, about the RG in general i do think they hit the jackpot with this line, its affordable, the engineering is basicly MG quality, in fact if you see the frame of the MG OYW you will notice they are basicly the same, just scaled in diferent size, but ive seen some people comparing them with PG and i must say i dont agree, the looks yeah, way better then PG and MG imo, but thats the major selling point of the RG ( at least for me) the decals, multiple shades add a lot of detail PG's and MG's dont have, but quality? nothing beats 2.0's and PG's, still for a 1/144 its a great modelkit and its impressive how something so small have so mutch detail.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Personally, I think the reason Bandai keeps pushing out the RG kits from Seed series is that those MS from Seed have the same size and basic frame of the 1st RG RX-78. Actually, they just want to save time (and resources) instead of creating more complex kit like Nu (or especially transformable MS like Zeta) for RG line. Ya know, the frame of a RG kit is not really easy to produce like the one in MG line (mostly due to the smaller scale).

Another reason, 10th anniversary for Seed... hmm, maybe...

@all: In my opinion, instead of "dreaming" about what the next RG kit will be, just "guess" about some other MS with the same size and frame like RX-78 :)

Wow. So that's why there were 39 comments when I saw this entry. Btw, "To" and "Too" should not be used in the same manner.

  38. Well if they ever do an RG Savior then Zeta probably wouldn't be out of the question.

  39. lets just hope for a Nu Gundam RG or X Gundam RG
