I think it's more like what if the ZZ gundam had it's own Z II like the Zeta Gundam got. The shoulders and lower legs (Plus in a way, that backpack) scream the ZZ Gundam overall. Looks nice, though it does keep the trend that the Z II set and has rather weird proportions still. I feel though that's more the giant feet and large hands.
Btw i would blame this kit for not having enough ZZ features, for a kit named after ZZ .
It still looks like ZII. I would rather name it ZIII than ZZII, if it does not include more ZZ features like the head with a high mega cannon, enormous beam sabers (not sure if the beam sabers are shown in the photos, i cannot find them) and its bulkiness.
