Dengeki Hobby Magazine Ending 17 Years of Hobby Publication

Dengeki Hobby Magazine (電撃ホビーマガジン) is a Japanese magazine produced by KADOKAWA Corporation centering around information relating to plastic models. It first went on sale on November 25, 1998. 

It was announced this month that Dengeki Hobby Magazine will end their magazine publication after the July 2015 issue due to be release in May.  KADOKAWA pledges to continue reporting on plamodel, figure, news, review and event report at their website Dengeki Hobby Web.  They also announced that new exclusive contents to be available online.in the near future.  Stay tuned.

  1. Even though I haven't actually purchased a single volume of this, I still find it very surprising that they would stop publication of a magazine that's been so popular for nearly 2 decades. I think most people bought the magazines for the included bonus parts for their GunPla.

    You know, if they just helped Bandai make those bonus items at least a P-Bandai release, it might have been better?
