Namco Bandai is bringing the latest from the Gundam Musou franchise to the United States. While the Japanese version of the game came in both PS3 and PSVita format, this US version / Europe version will only be available for PS3 only.

Featuring Mobile Suits and their pilots from over 30 years of Gundam anime and manga, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn lets players engage in battles across the Gundam series with the largest roster of Mobile Suits seen in the series so far. Relive the exciting battles and animation sequences with the largest number of missions ever spanning the entire Gundam series including Mobile Suit Gundam SEED in Official Mode. Fans can also select Mobile Suit pilots to operate any unlocked Mobile Suit in the game for crossover missions in Ultimate Mode.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn will allow players to control massive Mobile Armor units for the first time in the series. Mobile Armor units tower over the opposition and deliver absolute destruction to the enemy with the Mobile Armor’s unique weapons. Visual enhancements allow Mobile Suits and stages to reflect a war-torn world as players battle through hoards of enemies across each scenario. As players complete missions they will be able to upgrade their Mobile Suit and weapon systems. Weapon upgrades will be reflected graphically with increased range and power making it easy for players to see their Mobile Suit’s progress.
Players will also be able to select their favorite Mobile Suit and band together for intense split-screen gameplay or online co-op multiplayer action.

ReplyDeleteI 'm looking forward to all the aspects of the game, new mobile suit, be able to use mobile armo, The animation, of course, the bearguy was a "estrange" addiction, but this tells there will be much more options to choose in the future on the next games

ReplyDeleteI've never actually played a Dynasty Warriors game for more than a few minutes, but the sheer number of suits, modes, and features has gotten me intrigued enough to preorder the game.

ReplyDeleteI really liked number 3 but found the r'ecreated anime' missions a little lacking so I'm looking forward to the more in depth missions in this one.

ReplyDeleteEven though I've only played the Gundam Dynasty Warriors 4, I'm really looking forward to re-lived the story lines of the selected Gundam series. The most anticipate would be graphics and new abilities on every playable mobile suits.
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad that we're getting another Gundam game being localized. I wished it was on disc though like Europe and Japan. Anyway, I'm interested to see how 00 Qan[t] plays. I'm also excited that the graphics looks like it finally returned to the more "realistic" style as opposed to 3's cel-shaded look. 3 kinda felt like a step backwards for the series. I was hoping to see some Gundam Age or Build Fighters included, but maybe next time.

ReplyDeleteI've been playing it for the past few days and it's more of the same Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Not in a bad way, but you know what you get with these games: highly addictive button mashing.
ReplyDeleteIt's a ton of fun going to town with your favorite MS and wrecking everyone's shit. Unlocked the Banshee yesterday, so that will be my tool for the next coming days. ^^
The selection of mobile suits is great, the action is great and I love that is uses the Japanese VA's.
A couple of things are a bit disappointing, though. The story mission sets are very short and seem rushed, they're still not using the original music and no love for 08th MS Team, 0080 and the first season 00 suits (give me Exia over 00 Raiser every day).
Super excited for the return to realistic graphics!!! And I really hope we get the 00 Qan[T] DLC in the US!

ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie, I actually really liked the cel-shaded graphics of DW:G3, and am dissapointed to see they aren't doing that again. It felt more like something out of the anime.

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the upgrade in gameplay, in the last game it was really boring and repetive. Hopefully it's as good as DW1 or DW2, maybe even be better! ^.^
ReplyDeleteWell hopping is just not like the previous games; the same thing over and over from the very beginning to the end of the game, hopping for a bit of real strategy and story development.
