Wishful thinking but no, while story wise the blue destiny units are modified ground gundams, alot of the units differ, heads (obviously, even the gundam headed bd's are different if slight) shoulders (got flairs on them) chest (dem vulcans) legs and skirt armor.
But the ends of the arms rifle and shield could be used...
Actually the arms on the bd are different from tge ground gundam where the shield attaches so that can't be usEd unless that attachment can be removed. Also the thighs and feet are the same
It would be nice if they did run with this concept to make the other [G] unit types, but looking back on the other OYW based RD releases I doubt we'll see anything like that, at least not for a long while.
Love this. Definite buy. I'm guess this means that we will get the suits from 8th MS Team since they could reuse most of this figure.

DeleteWell, the arms, legs, shoulders, and torso is very similar to the ground gundam and GM, could be easily retooled.
