Disappointing episode. If Yuuki wasn't under mind control the battle could be more strategic and interesting. Scriptwriters at Sunrise were out of ideas and all they can do were show off some magics and explosions..
Yeah Yeah, everyone just going on and on how The Build Strike always use Plavsky magic and yet not single one questioned stuff like Saber/sword cut through beams, how Yuuki's Exia's trans-arm lasted for like 15 mins of the episode (in 00, it lasted like 5 mins...)
I mean seriously, every single time something better from Gundam comes out, the hater logic is like "NO, the technology doesn't make sense, it's worse than previous Gundam, It's doesn't make sense so people like this Gundam sucks and I like previous Gundam series so I'm superior fan" ---> spoiled fanboy logic.
a fun episode. the build nuckle made some sense to use since every other weapons was destroyed, although how they charged seemed like a plot hole. next episode will be interesting.
So many Ass pulls and cop outs. All that expectations build up; just to be thrashed.
The fight was lackluster. Space to corridor to space was so stupid. And the ass pulls after ass pulls. Yuuki was downplayed. Reiji's worst fight. I guess they were saving their budget for final last episode.
He's only telling the truth. This ep is disappointing overall. I wished some clever tactics and strategies were employed, not just a full frontal brawl of magical technologies.
But I still love Exia Dark Matter, no 'matter' what (pun intended!). It's on the same league as 00 Raiser & Reborn. Do Want.
Sorry, but I have have to agree with Error. What really made me want to watch Build Fighters was simply the fight scenes. I could care less for the story as the plot is nothing we haven't seen before. Looking at the first six episodes, fights were becoming progressively more intense. As episode six hit with the fight between the two rivals, I was completely sold. It had an impressive soundtrack that mixed perfectly with the fight. It was brutal, and had much more shooting/dodging/kicking/slashing than monologue. Comparing this episode to that, it was a disappointment.
And that you're implying there's no shooting/dodging/kicking/slashing or anything of the sort in this episode? LOL Exia raped the Strike for like half of this episode and the battle was the most intense yet in this series. The reason it wasn't as fun because the 2 suit were completely unbalanced compared to what we had before between Amazing Zaku vs Build Strike. The Amazing Exia outclassed the Strike most of the time during the entire battle not to say Yuuki was being controlled and ruthless so there's no straight on-charge in-sword clashing repeatedly stuffs, until the Strike restarted and start gaining momentum with its RG system and even then the Trans-arm was way too powerful and had the Strike didn't use its full RG double knuckled, they'd have lost. So it was Yuuki that did all the kicking and bullying stuff but the battle was intense nontheless.
More isn't always better. You got complete story from this series, be happy with that and move on when it's time to move on. An inability to let go when necessary is a serious character flaw.
Reiji was absolutely right. What are you showing off for huh Exia? Trans-arm in such a small space where are you think you're going. XD I really like how the RG overall power up the suit for more explosiveness and not the speed. Systems like Trans-arm is getting really boring.as of late, it looks confusing and you can't really tell what the Gundams are doing, just a big junk of red blurry thing...
*sigh* I would've preferred that completed Amazing Exia instead of the Dark Matter as a HG normal release.
There has to be a real-life Mashita(... is there?) behind the P-bandai online exclusive runs making some really strange decisions(MG Unicorn Phenex as a normal release as oppose to Banshee norn? sheesh).

It'll probably be an online exclusive. All they have to do is change the colors, the weapons, the toes and the v-fin. It's almost guaranteed a release. I'd rather have a MG than a HG though. Using the new Exia Repair II model as a base.
Another model that was deemed P-bandia online exclusive material was the Mg Banshee Norn. Is it really that costly to throw in the norn shield and beam magnum with the grenade launcher along with the already existing Banshee? Or better yet, seeing how it is kind of redundant to re-release the same model with new accessories, why don't they just release the norn weapons and attachments separately like they did with the MG Universe Booster? They've already done it with the weapon accessory packs for the HG line. Why not do it with armor and other body parts as well, that way we could build variants like the Sleeves Version of the Gaza for example, or the HG Fenexs' blue Psyco Frame and V-fin, instead of buying them from P-Bandai or other events. Seriously, P-Bandai is just a business tactic to prey on the really hard-core fans, since they're likely to be the only ones to shell out the money for those exclusives. I think exclusives should be reserved for translucent or electroplated editions rather than variations that we actually see in animation or manga.
exia dark matter was really cool but it sucks that build strike won only because of "plavsky magic" and it wasnt just that build strike became op after its ressurection it was just kawaguchis piloting that all of a sudden turned crap. dissapointed in the fight but impressed with the exia! now i really want that MG

Not so much. If you noticed, the Amazing Exia still had the GN sword III still attached to it's right arm. And the booster isn't as birdlike as the DM booster. Also, the shield.
OK, you can call that minor, but overall The Amazing Exia still has a better overall look, color-scheme wise and such.
So the next episode is gonna be final eh ? Than definitely gonna be very damn epic ! Just right in next preview image all gundam character are all out man !
As soon as i saw the completed amazing exia I was like "it would be hilarious at the end the paint job reverted like The End from eureka 7" and low and behold Regi goes and punches the black right off it
I doubt it, anything less than Trans-Am will be anti-climax. Last episode we got Trans-Am action, logically next final episode must be more badass than T-A.
I expect something like: - Devil Gundam/ Ultimate Gundam. - Gaga Trans-Am force. - Neo Zeong (yeah!) - All of the above (more likely :D)

It's kind of funny that the Strike has nothing from it's bland counterpart besides the name as something the series uses and uses original things. It's become a cool suit being more of an original new suit.
The Exia uses just about everything from it's counterpart, and more some. It really shows how great 00 is, especially if it's at the end of the series. 10th Anniversary for 00 in 2007 will be big.
Well, people always said Trans-Arm is OP. For me..... Trans-Arm same as RG system or EXAM system. Just a cheat system for noob people to pilot a Gundam/Gunpla. Trans-arm more like a (women or Kids who do not know how to drive a manual Car while drive using an auto car).
In episode 8, Aila using Jegan to defeat Devil Gundam which is one of the OP MS. Just using Jegan and without cheat system such (Embody? Mind Cotroller?) I can't remember the name of that thing. The Gorilla/Gonda using Turn X (one of the most powerful system it have) but if the pilot is no good. an OP machine can be a trash machine. (I believe, even though Setsuna using Trans-Arm, I still called him as a skill pilot. Same goes to Kira Yamato (even though I really hate this guy)he is skilled pilot too. (too bad, for Gundam OO 2nd has a low rating compare to 1st season) (i'm sure coz a lot of overused of Trans-Arm) Gundam Seed 2nd season also..... I hate the Destiny Gundam Pilot......

I get a bad feeling in my gut that both Exia Amazing and Exia Dark Matter will be online exclusive MGs and HGs. And we'll probably get Trans Am variations for them as well...maybe around the time MG Exia Repair 3 is announced as exclusive? Oh and when are we going to get an RG System ver. for the MG Star Build Strike? Whatever the case may be, I think we can agree that Bandai has been spamming out exclusive releases way too often now and making the Banshee Norn an exclusive when a variation of the Unicorn mold (Phenex) is a regular release. Weird...and stupid.
I hope that they do a season two of this series after reconguista in g, I mean I know Gundam Age isn't the most popular but I still think it deserves some love in this series, also didn't see any models from Unicorn either, also there are all the possibilities of model kits from reconguista in g that they could use. Also if there is season two I would like the main character to have an original gunpla not one that is based off another

They did answer why the Trans Am lasted longer. They said at the very beginning that the backpack was a Trans Am booster.

I wonder if Exia DM be a sitting duck when it send out its booster to attack ite enemy since its source of energy is with its booster during that.
ReplyDeleteI hope that they do a season two of this series after reconguista in g, I mean I know Gundam Age isn't the most popular but I still think it deserves some love in this series, also didn't see any models from Unicorn either, also there are all the possibilities of model kits from reconguista in g that they could use. Also if there is season two I would like the main character to have an original gunpla not one that is based off another
