  1. Augh, does this mean Build Fighters is ending already?! I was really hoping for a second season. That show has been far, far better than I ever expected it to be.

    1. How gundam is meant to be enjoyed...

Build Fighters is showing fans how it's supposed to be done and it's a fucking great series... I can't help but be saddened by the fact that Bandai is announcing a new series already... :(

    2. I enjoy many reference and suit appearance in GBF, its fun show. But plot is garbage and hardly to take it seriously. Its a kid show that do not required critical thinking

    3. Dude, Gundam IS a kids show. Sure it has messages that an adult can grasp or interpret differently, but at it's core. It's a kids show.

    4. That's not entirely true. A large part of the gundam franchise has been talking about sensitive subjects that kids would most definitely not understand. Therefore, it is preposterous to call Gundam a kids show.

  2. Thunderbolt maybe?

  3. Well I have some thoughts like maybe Crossbone Gundam, Gundam The Origin, Another Series just like Build FIghters(I just hope if they do that there will be no freaking girl protagonist like China), Another Timeline or even a new part of the Universal Century.

  4. So, is it time for The Origin?

    1. if it was thunderbolt im pretty sure they would have waited to release kits

    2. Why, when they can release all kits now, and then re release them as animation version editions.

  6. It's got to be the awaited announcement regarding the animated adaptation of Gundam: The Origin. There was post (I can't remember where I saw it) that said that there was going to be announcement in 2014.

  7. Nothing they haven't announced already; Gundam The Origin!

  8. It's Gundam The Origin. For fuck's sake even Shuuichi "Red Comet" Ikeda is there, and IIRC he had casually said on a TV show "see you in Gundam The Origin!"

    1. I'd love it, but they have been teasing us with The Origin for a long time it's a given. I know Fukui loves HF though, so he's been subtly foreshadowing to it with Unicorn. I hope they do make it eventually.

    2. There are also some stuff in the story that they would have to iron out first. For starters, Hathaway's Flash follows the continuity of Beltorchika's Children, rather than the movie version of Char's Counterattack. Hathaway's actions in BC is an important part in this story. Also, HF ignores (or at least, is inconsistent with) some events in the Unicorn novels. If they can include something in the final Unicorn Episode that could pave the way for a future production of Hathaway's Flash. then that would be great.

    3. We know Fukui wants to foreshadow the HF era in the last ep of Unicorn, but whether that's something concrete (like a Jesta-derived Gustav Karl prototype) or just visions of the future thanks to the NT-D psycoframe mindfuck, we don't know.

They could retcon some BC details by having the CCA war records lost, so no one knows Hathaway killed Chan and they credit him with taking down the Alpha Azieru, I dunno, I'm just coming up with random shit.

    4. @anon 6:21

That random "shit" actually sounds plausible. but I would still bet on them modifying a few details so that it follows the CCA movie. It is really pretty difficult to mend together the different stories made through different media since they did not adhere to a greater story when they are made (CCA has at least two different versions, not to mention the original series' novel version). Some stories might, unfortunately, never make it to animated form.

  10. Probably Origin..but i hope i something brand new. Sad about Build Fighters anyway...really hoped for a 2nd season..

  11. I don't see how The Origin's announcement has to cancel the second season of BF. It's not like they will start airing it immediately...

  12. Is there any hope of an Advance of Zeta anime?

  13. I'm losing my hope in waiting for a epic Gundam series since they are working more in GunPLa instead of series.

I hope Unicorn won't lose it's epicness on it's 7th ep....Trust me if Phenex appeared on this ep then my comment above is true

    1. Yeah I support you very much! Ecole is a very interesting story since it has a new twist of the Gundam shows where the main character is a girl. Moreover she started with weak MS's before so we can see her great development (compared to those other main characters who pilots a extremely powerful MS / Gundam at first fight)

It will be a tough decision to pick this series due to the producers focuses on GunPla instead of the story (since Ecole do not have many new MS's like Hathaway's Flash) but I think this is the best option for UC series aside from Hathaway's Flash and Crossbone Gundam)
