Well, if you live in states AND don't mind using spray cans, I used Testors Inca Gold. It produces a deep, golden color. It's kind of like a root beer golden color but lighter if that makes sense. It's equivalent to the Gundam Marker Gold.
nice one but i'm afraid that too much paint layering will stiffen your inner frame joints especially in RG with just a small inner frame. my friend painted his gpo01 fb inner frame with tamiya gun metal and he couldn't put the shoulder armor. i know it is his first time and he prolly spray painted it too thick. i'm not saying that this method of yours will not work, on the outer armor yes but for inner frame - i don't want to gamble on it. maybe an airbrush user can do this and a skilled one i might say. thanks for the suggestions but can you recommend just one coat of spraying?? will really apprecite it.
Normally 1:3-4 portion won't be too thick, well that method is a way to brought out the glossy shineness of the Gold colour , if u wanna a bit dull colour just spray gold - clear. For AB user normally inner frame with 1:4~5 mixture of the paint to avoid thickness especially metallic colour.
i imagine if thats dragoon joint with booster was so fragile, anybody knew the failure of bandai Perfect Grade strike freedom with that part ? well coz they just increase the price, but lowered the quality, i hope not with this RG. if they do ? see ya bandai u re disappointing ur consumer again ~~
Pre ordered it, still can't believe that this actually exist 144 scale.
ReplyDeleteWow! They actually painted the frame with gold!
ReplyDeleteNow I know that it is possible...
Lovely, this will be my first RG kit!
ReplyDeletewhat did he use to paint the inner frame?
ReplyDeleteprobably tamiya ts84?
and can give me a cheap alternative to achieve that shiny metallic gold.
thanks to anyone who will answer.
I wish he showed us how did he paint or the kind of paint he used for the frame.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of gold did this person use? I like the darker colour for the frame rather than the bright and shiny wing colour.
