It's easy dude. I make my own led units. Or you can buy pre wire leds and pre wired battery coin cell unit with a switch for $5 and all you need too do is twist 2 wires together and your done.
This is where I get some if my stuff from. http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/nano-smd-leds.html They are great if you don't have a soldering iron. And the carry flashing leds which are cool for gun effects. I buy the rest off if Ebay and make my own. The hardest part is finding somewhere too store the battery. Which I believe it's under the base. You should check out gundam eclipse forum myself and a few other are building kits with leds on there.
