I don't get why people like gundam with ridiculous X on its back. plus its just a standard-looking gundam, I don't see anything fancy. even Guntank looks more awesome than this.
@Anon 3:37 It's the pirate look, it's different and cool. Giant robot with Jolly Roger on its chest, it's very unique. People might ask the same thing about a mobile suit you might like. For example, what's the appeal of the 00 Raiser with its ridiculous jet airplane on its back? What's the appeal of the AGE-1 with it's ridiculous sport car spoiler on its back? What's the appeal of the Wing Zero Custom with it's ridiculous angel wings on its back? Get my point?
is this going to be as flimsy to pose as the X1 Full Cloth?
I love the gundams but I hate the models. Core fighter boosters just won't stay in the correct "X" formation for too long and arm joints seem a little too loose. X__X
I haven't taken my X1 Full Cloth out of the box since the week after I finished building it due to posing issues.
Most likely, since I believe these all share the same main sprues. However, these are issues that can be easily fixed. Search around the web, there's a couple of ways to tighten up flimsy joints ;)
Paint would fix that as well. Or if you doNT want to paint it or glue it. You could buy a of future floor acrylic for $7 and take the joints apart brush it on the joints and reassemble the parts when dry. It works really well especially on poly caps.
hell yeah looks totally awesome, can't wait to get it

Delete@Anon 3:37 not to mention it's much more awesome especially when you see it in action in the crossbone gundam manga

DeleteYeah, just try some UHU glue. It is cheap and does miracles.
Delete^^^^
Deletealso paint has a tendency to tighten joints

ReplyDeleteEven though the mg x3 still looks badass, it would've been cool if they made they face the same as the manga...
ReplyDeleteyeah for sure
Deleteeasy way to fix loosen joint, put some paper into it. it may be really tighter than uhu or paint but sure, it is the easier and cheaper
ReplyDeleteI have to say every part is okay but the face of the Gundam is wrong because it look like the X-1 head not the X-3
