Info about Gundam Wing Dual Story G-Unit (via Wikipedia):
New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-UNIT, released in the United States as Mobile Suit Gundam: The Last Outpost, is a side story that takes place concurrently with the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime series. The twelve-volume manga, drawn by Kōichi Tokita, was printed in Comic Bom Bom between May 1997 and March 1998, and later sold in three volumes by Kodansha. The English version is available from Tokyopop.
Unlike most other Gundam Wing manga, G-UNIT does not feature any of the anime characters or Gundams, with the exception of a few brief cameos. Instead, the manga introduces an entirely new cast of characters and mobile suits. Furthermore, the setting of G-UNIT creates an extra degree of separation from the war raging in the Earth Sphere - the story takes place at the MO-V colony in the asteroid belt. The colony's test pilots fight to survive as the special forces group, OZ Prize, fights MO-V in a deadly war of attrition to acquire the colony's advanced mobile suits. This isolated conflict, which begins as OZ begins its subtle conquest of space, drags on for months and eventually concludes at the same time as the Eve Wars.

  3. I like these designs, but they never looked like something I'd expect to see from the Wing universe.

    1. Because they are "UC tribute" units.

  4. I can't grasp the logic behind re-releasing such old kits. I'm guessing that Bandai plans to use nostalgia as a means to get these to sell, and hopefully use profits from these guys to bring out the rest of the MGs from Wing that we need.

    1. What are you talking about? They did this all the time, Wing, Victory, Turn A, you still can purchase them with good and new condition because they always got re-issued. They even still re-issue the old BB senshi kit released in 1993. The kits are still being sold because a lot of new gunpla fan also wants them.

    2. It's better to profit from still good molds rather than just let them take up warehouse space and gather dust.

    3. I cannot grasp the logic of you keeping on trying to disguise yourself as anonymous, suiton. We know it's you, you asshole, always craping about what MGs we need... Unless GG actually got your account banned from the comments section, and that's why you were complaining about him like a whinny little bitch on your blog (of course you removed that post, cuz you're also a coward, but everyone knows that). Fucking asshole coward

  8. Bandai should have re-issued the kits using the current tech now. Nostalgia's fine but it would have been better if redisgned it a bit, especially if Bandai wants to re-introduce this series to the new Gunpla enthusiasts. Oh well, who are we to complain anyway, we got what wanted. :)

    1. They wouldn't be reissues if they were remade, now would they. Regardless Bandai isn't going going to pump money into a plus decade dead manga that wasn't even popular except in the USA.

    2. Seriously people, re-issue is a simple sold out item being produced again. It's as simple as a new batch of french fries.

There's no "HURR DURR NOSTALGIA FRANCHISE MILKING" here

    3. Speaking of re-issue, a bootleg of the Geminass 01 and the 02 version came out early this year (2014) upgraded to the new HG standard. I wish Bandai would do the same.

  9. Here's a sad story: I have all five of these from the 2002 reissue sitting in a box totally unbuilt. Since 2004.

  12. I know it's a slime chance, but i wish they mold griepe's white parts in full white mold. The old one is very bluish

  13. Ok I think...but I wish these were redone as part of HGAC, especially Greipe.

  14. Sorry for being ignorant, but does "Re-issue" means that these kits will be new products, not some old stocks they couldn't sell?

  16. Dragon Momoko made their own version of Gundam Geminass01 all the new joints articulation are based on the
new 1/144 wing gundam of bandai, D.M's Gundam geminass is much better on the design now in terms of
plastic quality not as good as bandai gunpla plastic quality also the only thing they didn't change on
on their geminass is the design of its shoulder add armor and booster pack and even its rifle and shield
which its articulation assembly is still simillar to that of bandai gundam geminass
