This Unit 2 was built for Largan. It would later be one of the Age-1 flats that was used to test the Assault Jacket. The fact that Bandai released this as a stand-alone exclusive kind of indicates they wont make an assault Jacket kit.
Anyone can have this kit.. Just get the regular MG kit and paint the red parts blue and make the center peice out of pla plate (: but I do wish that Bandai had included the assault jacket parts /:
I feel that this signals a NO WAY. For an assault jacket. Why bother releasing this if an assault jacket was planned? People would just buy the assault jacket and they'd have this by default.
They definitely wont release the jacket parts as exclusive, when is the last time Bandai sold so many newly designed parts as online shop only? Oh right, NEVER.

Considering commercial failure of the Age kits, making them online exclusives is probably the right call on Bandai's part.
