  3. That looks exactly like the 1/1700 scale Zephyranthes that came with the EX Model Albion. I know because I have one of the metallic coated Albions, and the 1/1700 Zephyranthes holds it's rifle sideways, as seen here. What's weird though is that this Zephyranthes is blue. My metallic Zephyranthes is silver, which more often than not, is used as a replacement for white. I wonder why it's this color instead of white.

Here's also something interesting to know: the 1/1700 Albion also came with a Physalis in the same scale, and unlike the Zephyranthes, it required assembly. You had to glue on it's bazooka and shield. I didn't do it with mine. I don't think my hands are steady enough for it.

  4. I confirm is a 1/1700 model EX Gp01 from the Albion's kit... It is only blue painted...

  5. No, the detailing on this extremely tiny figure looks way too perfect for it to be painted. It looks like it was molded in the color. The question is why?

From what I think I understand, there are only two versions of the EX Model Albion: the normal version, and the metallic coated version. Is there a third version I don't know about, or is it possible that this is a surprisingly well detailed bootleg?

    1. i'm fairly sure painting a kit in complete blue color is very easy.

  6. I have one of these figures, I know what it looks like, and how small it is. It's smaller than a 1/144 pilot figure.

I'm not saying that it isn't easy to paint a figure in a single color, I'm saying that the detail on something this tiny is way too perfect for it to be painted. If it was, I'd expect there to be some kind of imperfection, like clumping, or there'd be paint obscuring many of the tiny details, irregardless of the painter's skill or painting methods or tools. Simple paint job or no, I'd say that even pros would have a hard time painting this, and have it come out half as good as what we see here.
