    1. That would be much more involving, and much more interesting to take part in or observe.

I'm a grown(ish) man, for fuck's sake, I just can't get excited about COLORING. Yeah, I know I'm being a party pooper right now. I wasn't going to say anything the first time, but now it looks like this is going to be a regular thing going forward, and taking up a LOT of posts...

    2. Actually I spoke to GG about the same thing. But he has it all lined up. One more color contest, then a photo contest, and ending the year with gunpla contest. At least that is the plan.

  4. Can't wait, already know what i'm coloring the Zeta. Strike will be interesting but the wild card is the norn, very hard to figure out a good scheme for that suit with the way it's designed...

  5. it's really hard to join this contest, like the previous one.. because everyone will be up against people who are awesome at photoshop..i don't even know the basic photoshop techniques..i hope Gundam Guy would divide the contest into two categories..1 for photoshop-ers and computer/graphic editors/artists..and 1 for those who only can color by crayons, pencil, paint, etc..

    here my plea GG!!

    1. I think it's a good idea to have a digital category apart from the raw (crayons/pencils/ect) category. Although, If i have the time, i'll enter on one with just my pencil work.

    2. Eh, yeah, seconded that comment. I can do digital colouring with tablet but I can't do anything Photoshop-related.

    3. there were finalists in the current contest that were printed out and colored on paper. so your point is invalid.

    4. who said luna jr. was a kid? I don't recall people's ages being posted on their entries.

    5. Also that wasn't the only entry that wasn't photoshop. Dustin Wilkinson's Jesta isn't photoshop. It's just actually colored well traditionally.

  6. blah,, I understand that the judges are trying to be fair and nice to everyone, but letting Luna Jr. to the finalist just because he/she uses crayon and he/she is a beginner, is already trolling people. It just looks messy and there are way better color schemes. This show that the judges doesn't pay much attention at other people color scheme nor their unique designs. The judges are just trying to make a point about tradition art and making the cry babies happy. and Dustin Wilkinson coloring is pretty good, but the color scheme is not unique, it looks similar to the heavyarms EW and 4 other people in the competition, just plug in the colors and good to go. This show the judges didn't take the Color scheme, panel line, markings, special effects into consideration...even the rules said these will all be taken into consideration when judging.
