Watch Bandai release a RM Ver. for the MG Destiny, even if it's just a slight recoloring with the Wings of Light included. Or better yet, watch them do a new MG, and then put the Wings of Light as an online exclusive..LOL

DeleteAlso, from what I heard, this guy is reusing the old HG version parts. So I'm guessing it'll be a clear piece for the wings and you put on a specially coated decal to give it that shimmery effect. I mean Bandai is trolling us with the RG Destiny as it is considering the shield's beam effect part is a decal.
This is why I am losing interest in GunPla slowly. Bandai is making retarded choices, pissing off the fans, and doing too many of the damn online exclusive releases.
Translation: I have no idea what I'm talking about and wahh Bandai isn't printing out my wish list.
DeleteIt's a entirely new mold for the WoL period. Their "retarded" choices are generating so much damn money for them that they're producing kits they wouldn't have chances before and putting a few of those as Exclusives.
They're going to pump out Unicorn, Seed and Seed Destiny and Gundam Wing kits until those series die off again and they produce another series or revival to make more kits out of. And it's working really, really well for them. So much so that the "pissed" off fans keep buying kits left and right to where online retailers are selling out.
I agree with Anon above me. For one thing, these online exclusive items were never marketed at us. Their main market is Japan, and they only produce the quantities ordered. Sure it sucks for us overseas fans who have to pay extra, but no one said this hobby would be cheap. And looking at the price of these, its actually not bad. We're getting the WoL and the Clear Action Base. At the price GG has it I think its pretty good. Hell I'm probably gonna pre-order the RG Destiny + WoL combo.
DeleteWhat suiton doesn't seem to be able to grasp is that Bandai does not produce kits just for him... In fact, I agree with both anon and Tagrastic above me. Bandai caring about foreign fans is like if I produced really awesome doughnuts for my country, one that sold like crazy, but I would instead be worrying about producing for a foreign country just because my neighbor happens to buy a few and take them there when he goes there on holidays.. Get it through your heads, online exclusives are a guaranteed success for Bandai, bc they don't waste money producing kits they guess may sell, they just produce them to fit the preorders. Since they only produce for japan, japanese fans that really want these exclusives will have no problem getting them, so it's always a win-win for everyone there.

Btw, there are well above 150 MGs out there to choose from. Having a couple of them be online exclusives is hardly any reason to lose interest... Unless you're a hipster who just wants to brag about having the latest stuff

Deleteonline exclusives are usually recolored kits (tallgeese 2, zakus, etc) or accessories (this, striker packs, sinanju bazooka) so they're not that important i think.
and i don't think this will be clear parts with decal like the beam shield (yeah that's fucked upp i agree with suiton this time, but i think this one won't be like that)
Well, at least it's an online shop exclusive. It's optional, so if you don't like it, don't buy it.
