Well yeah. Most of the visible change work is the altered aspect ratio and the rest is the few animation fixes for fight scenes. They were NEVER going to re-write it or redo entire battles. Anyone who expects anything more than a little animation cleaning are retarded.

^I beg to disagree. Real fans don't have to like everything but they appreciate the contributions of every series to the franchise, such as Cosmic Era music or the knowledge that some franchises are not ready to have live action versions.

If someone would ask me "what is my favorite gundam series?" my answer would be: wing, seed, 00, and some UC series.......No breaking of someone's trip! Besides, who knows what would happen at the next part of the show? remember the appearance of the Perfect Strike in the previous Remastered? maybe they would change the story a little in order to make it bigger! And besides, who knows that Mobile Suit is actually good in gunpla, video games, and online games like SDGO!
I'd appreciate it if Kira uses the multiple assault striker pack on the rouge instead of just Aile when he retrieves SF, or they dismantle Freedom in respect to the treaty and Kira uses a repaired/copy of Perfect Strike.
And yes, I'd love it if they do away with Freedom in Destiny and just have Kira pilot a Strike variant with enhanced performance. I really don't like Freedom.
Well honesty, it doesnt matter if YOU like Freedom, The mobile suit is one of the most beloved out of all mobile suits in the history of Gundam. It is visually stunning and is very well-known in general.
I really don't understand SEED haters/ UC bashers. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. Don't like the article coz your hated show is in it? Ignore it! Solution is that simple. Why bother trolling? Waste of time when one can use those time making more Gunplas than trolling.
People these days prefer good plot (like the Avengers) and the UC series is as classical as transformers g1, macross(robotect), and Golion(voltron) and it should as a timeless classic(that why Japan create the lifsize rx-78-2 statue to honor it) which dumb Wing And Seed fanboys keep getting it backwards.
Ill probably see this after the entire show has come to an end so I dont have to wait a week for an episode.
Also for everybody that is complaining about that there were no changes need to understand that the first episodes are fine, no changes need to be made...the later episodes are the ones we need to wait for.
Gundam SEED/Destiny have become the Star Wars prequels of the Gundam franchise, so much unnecessary hate. Sure they are not perfect, both have some writing issues, while they have great ideas somehow they don´t execute them well. Still love both.
Look, people calm down, I m just a gundam design fan so I like to judge all of the designs and series on their own quality. Seed d has an excellent beginning in plot pacing and action, nothing need to change until they land on the planet, the trouble with the plot starts there, before strike shows up again. They can change the plot points there, redo some ten episodes then, seed would be much better in plot.
