what the gundam fan base need is respect, and that is, respect for each other's opinions, and not to force people to accept that yours is right. yes, i'm a seed fan, as i started my exposure to gundam via seed. so what? does that mean that i would go and diss all UC/00/X/Wing/G/Turn A/AGE post? Do i go and promote the church of Jesus Yamato and SEED is the greatest thing since sliced bread? No! Because i respect everyone's decisions and do not force them to like seed. all i can only do is to learn how to accommodate other's tastes and hence i get friends that although dislike seed, they would respect my decision and are friends to me till today. and because of them, i had exposure to other series and such, and my favourite series to date are Turn A, 00, as well as Unicorn.
as for the rest of the public, i understand that GSD had a storyline weaker than tissue paper and reused animation is pretty much everywhere. but instead of bashing everything about the series you hate, why not concentrate on something that you like instead! we don't need all that negativity in something that was meant to entertain us.
for those who staunchly decided that Seed is the best thing ever to happen to gundam, i strongly urge you to go see the gundam world more, you will be surprised on how wide and varied the gundam metaverse is.

I came here to see in the comments if the remaster was worth watching, and all i see is a bunch of apes complaining and licking UC balls. I never thought that gundam fans were so dumb. The UC fanboys that go on attacking other series are so ridiculous that makes me pitty them. Anyways, after reading a few coments here i had to vent out. Its almot impossible that destiny will get any better, however i trully hope they fix the last episodes. When i watched the first two movies, i really liked it ( far less shinn screen time, far less annoying). However after the third one, everything went downrails incredibly fast. I don't know if i have the stomach to rewatch the series and bump into those horrible last episodes. I will wait until more episodes are released, until them i will be watching other gundam series.
