  1. Those shoulder blocks look like they are ready to snap off the body from the weight of the binders.

  3. Having spent the better part of the past year working on this kit, I can say that a good amount of this is not painted. It's a decent attempt.. The kit's resin is molded in color and the light green on this build is the stock resin color. They did at least paint the darker green. But the larger rocket thrusters are just the stock plating that comes on the parts (they're some of the injection plastic parts included with the kit). Also, none of the photo etch has been painted. This has actually only had some of the detail parts painted, then a lining job, then a top coat, like what we usually see on HG and MG builds by some people.

There has also obviously been no attempt at pinning and strengthening, which is why the binders are sagging. I spent a long time putting stainless steel pins in everywhere, and mine can stand on its own with binders extended. Also, they used 1/100 beam sabers on a 1/72 kit is kinda strange, when G-System makes 1/72 sabers that are actually in scale.

I should have mine done in a couple of months and will submit it here.

    1. Did it ever cross your mind that they were able to get the shade of green to match that of the raw resin?

    2. Yes, but a very close look at some of the pictures shows where the casting blocks were sanded off on the light green pieces. They leave a discoloration in the resin. That discoloration is still visible in the pictures. If the pieces were painted, the discoloration would be covered.

  4. I like the work done here, thanks for posting. Completely painted or not.

Bang doll do you have wip's of your progress. I have been wanting to find out feedback from builders (team axis gb, bang doll, anyone building or built this kit)of this kit. I just bought it an am wondering about the hurdles I face?

  5. Is the stand hand made or ordered from somewhere? Would really like something like it for the 1/100 Elyn Kshatriya
