  1. I would have thought he would aim the idling Unicorn instead of Zimmerman.

    1. bandai did and the prototype fell apart under its own weight

    2. Not with current technology. It would way too heavy, especially the binders. Each is just as big and heavy as a regular 20m UC mech. Besides, are you in for a 15k jpy price tag?

    3. Well Bandai knows there's a huge demand for an MG Kshatriya and people would pay big money for one. And I am sure Bandai is working on something. Like MG Sazabi and MG The-O before, Bandai took their time and finally release MG Sazabi in 2000 and MG The-O in 2010 as part of the 5TH and 15th anniversary of the Master Grade line. For a long time it was not quite possible. But they made it. Price is relative (MG Sazabi had a listed price of 8000 Yen in 2000) but fans wanted it and the massive size and details justifies the price. Now 2015 would be the 20th anniversary of the Master Grade line. Hope for MG Kshatriya reminds.

    4. I agree that the demand is high and regardless I would also buy Kshatriya as soon as it hit the shelves. The thing is, though, as optimistic as I am I can't see it coming anytime soon. The binder joints, knee caps, shoulder armour - everythning would have to be custom made and/or reinforced. The way I see it, old-Nu MGs ankles might be a solution (a ready-made joint mechanism). Despite that, I cannot imagine the model to come out without any sort of funnel-display propellers. Thus, the price would effectively go up to PG levels.
Also, you mention Sazabi and The-0. As much as I get your point with Sazabi, The-0 aside of size and bulkiness is nothing spectacular or worthy bragging about. The frame is solid but very limited, the gimmicks are few in between and as a whole, the MG seems a bit chunky to my mind. BANDAI could've done it 5 years ago. After all, they did pull out both Sentinels which are only a bit smaller, yet how far ahead complicated in terms of built-in gimmicks.

  3. I thought Banagher stopped his angsting last episode, oh well.

Zinnerman commits the cardinal sin. NEVER reveal your past in a Gundam show.

    1. I hope he doesn't pull the whole "I dunno what to do"/"I don't wanna fight" schtick again. He got the girl and he got the uberweapon. What more does he want lol.

    2. Well, he looks like he's about to lose said girl in the trailer, so the doubt and indecisivness will no doubt set back in. Understandable given he's centered his whole life around Audrey, and might be about to lose her.

    3. Yeah but Mineva already chose him over Riddhe last ep and Bright also set him straight with a good ol' verbal brightslap. That and he's also unlocked Super Saiyan 2 pixie dust Unicorn. I don't really see a reason for him to whine anymore (unless Bright's lost his touch).

  5. They always had to add fuel to the fire with Full Frontal saying if Char is still alive...

    1. I never bought it for a second. Char is dead, no ifs, no buts, dead.

  7. I hate trailers with epic music on the background and highlights on the movie. Makes me cry.

    1. I wouldn't call it epic, but rather its appropriate. It matches the trailer perfectly and by extension the sad ending we're expecting (its UC...). Minus the timing of voices the editing on this was also superb. Though we can't tell if those lines belong to that particular scene or not.

  8. OMFG!!! english dub!!! EW! EW! EW! EW! EW! EW! IT'S DISGUSTING!!!! *puke*
english dub should be banned and people who like it are mentally challenged and don't deserve to live

    1. This is the first english dub anime I have liked. It is nice to soak in the entire graphic environment and not focus on text at the bottom of the screan. After watching a later episode in english, I went back and watched them all that way from the start. They have put some time into the english voice acting.

    2. Be quiet. Subs are abundant while dubs are harder to come across(for free). If you don't like dubs you don't have to listen to them.

The English dub for Unicorn isn't bad at all. But yes, in this trailer the dub isn't good. Still, even with the Japanese version, the words don't match the characters mouths either. It is intended to be that way here

    3. @Jimmy James

Completely agree. And I did the same thing. When I found a site that had them, I went back and watched all 5 episodes in english and loved it. The dub is good if you ask me

    4. There's a process called editing that animators have to do before they release something. This is clearly a trailer with spoken lines from the episode inserted. I've lost count of the many animes that did that. I myself prefer Japanese dubs over English but so far Unicorn has performed satisfactorily in the latter department.

  10. Is anyone here surprised they might talk a little about char's past?

    1. I wouldn't be surprised after seeing this trailer. I was actually imagining a little flashback of Char vs Amuro in the Sazabi and Nu. Wouldn't that be awesome?

  11. I'll take it right away Gundam Guy ... but the trailer Blu Ray EPS 6? I do not understand why it is ignored. He expects the 22? Or is it I saw?
