Well, if you look closely the structure of the front skirt armor prevents its from doing a standard knelling pose. The bulky upper part of the front skirt armor hinders its movement form what I can see..
He's not trying to make kneeling pose, as much as I figured. He's only checking how much articulation of the knee without changing arms position from previous shot. And as said above me, kneeling is prevented by front skirt.
With all respect, this mate have no idea how to pose a standard kneeling position...
