If you take a close look at the second pic I think the wrist is broken you can see by the color differences there is a little bit of light grey like it snapped but that is just my observation
i can only hope that those ball jointed wrist would get dragged down by the weight of is beam rifle or other accessories, and wouldn't get loose easily.
There is only one wrist type. It looks like it just popped out as the wrist is at that angle when its on the runner. Part of the assembly process is to swivel it into position where it should click shut. This one is probably worn out from being brought to lots of different shows and repackaged every time.
There are rumors that the MG Sazabi Ver Ka might be the last MG kit to be produced. The idea is that RG will replace MG and the HG grade will get a boost in terms of finish details making the HG line the preferred choice to "serious" modelers. It's all part of Bandais efforts to reduce the production of oversized kits that most people in Far East Asia don't have space for. The MG Ver Ka of Nu Gundam and Sazabi will be a sort of celebration of the MG line before they pull the plug on it. Sad but potentially true.
those are only rumors and will remain rumors. I agree on RG replacing the HG/ HGUC line but, MG? there are still modelers out there that prefer "bigger" kits or 1/100 kits, and the MG line is still selling shitloads.
Haha not a troll ;) there are a few factors that play into the potential devices ion to shelf the MG line. It has mostly to do with cost of manufacture, distribution, and sales. MG models costs far more to produce and distribute due to more plastic in kit, waisted plastic during manufacture, and shipping volume. With fuel prices staying constantly high the return they get with an average price per kit around 60-80USD still does not work out well with what they expect go gain with the RG line. Believe it or not but in Japan and neighboring markets most folks would prefer the MG type detail in a smaller kit which in this case would be the RG line. But folks lets not stress about RG replacing MG... MG VerKa Sazabi!!!
Keep telling yourself that BS. If Bandai had any intention of killing the MG line then we will first of all witness a decrease in kits released per year. So far everything is still going like it always has. The MG line still makes money for Bandai so they wont kill it any time soon.

I prefer proportion accurate models, in which are accurate from which movie, series or novel it's based from, in which mostly the 1/144(HG/HGUC) scale kits are doing better job than most of the MGs. Though I like MGs because of their quality, articulation and, things the HGUC/HG kits don't have. So if the RG line continues on growing, it'll be better than the MG kits. Remember that the RG line is only at it's starting phase and is doing pretty well, so in the future it will be more favored and preferred than the MG kits.
One can speculate for ages but in the end it will be sad if the MG line goes out of production. But let's be honest... What's the point of spending so much in development costs for the RG line unless it was to somehow replace the MG line. I can't say there is a big enough niche market for highly detailed 144 scale kits unless they were to get rid of the MG line entirely. It's strategic.
There is a thing sometimes referred to as market cannibalism where one company produces two or more products that compete for the same market share. A total waist in terms of business sense. So far RG and MG has been able to coexist but that's not going to be the case for long. RG will never replace HG cuz most self respecting modelers prefer the modeling flexibility of the HG line. HG is here to stay but either the MG or the RG is at risk. My bets go to the RG.
