electroplating maybe ? i once read an article about a Japanese car modeller who used that technique to make chrome rims...
don't think the average person like a plamo-hobbyist has stuff to do that. though yes, you are right, the technique is indeed called electroplating
Not at all even doing a chrome spray can cost a lot of money to buy the stuff you need to do it, Iv been lookin ginto it recently I was considering making a custom mg gold frame amatsu but the cost of the chroming kits is just insane.
i think there's a posted news before that there's a company that does electroplating for model kits in akihabara. could be that

Yes!! It's GOLD!!And I now realize oddly why I hate the MG Epyon. Those wings, the redesigned wings are just,..... yuk
agreed the wings are terrible, the wings on the robots spirits epyon are much much better.
