I'd have to agree there. At ep. 42 things should be heating up, instead it seems like we're stuck in the middle. Things were a lot better, though not by much, in the previous generations.
Looks to me, the remaining episodes of AGE will be episodes of IDIOTS. Starting with Zehearto who still doesn't realize that he has been FOOLED for so long, a DUMB woman only cares about revenge and KIO who has now become a HIPPIE and play goal keeper
so it seems. Flit have become a mad man. Zeheart, however powerful of an X-rounder he is, completely a BLIND-ROUNDER.. and the lead pilot have become Kio YAMATO. i guess i can't blame Asemu for becoming a pirate since everyone started acting like a fool.
i've lost respect for the X-Rounders.. since almost all of them becomes crooked with their schemes and their own ego. FLIT, DESIL, ZEHEART, EZELCANT & KIO... all have lost their minds thanks to being an X-Rounder..
Is it just me or has the series started losing focus? The developments immediately after Kio returned from Vagan were great, but now they're introducing a brand new character out of the blue that we're supposed to care about? I seriously hope we get back to Ezelcant and Gundam Legilis soon.
it's not really "out of the blue". Girard Spriggan name has already been mentioned by the time Diva went to space in the early 3rd gen. Well, what do you expect from a three generation length RPG game being compressed into 50 anime episode divided into 4 arc.
I must wonder if any of the people complaining about Kio's attempt to fight without killing remember that Kio is 13. He is not a adul in the military who has had real trainig, he is a 13 year old boy who is kind and trained by playing a game. I feel that he has more reason to try to fight than Kira since he is a kind KID who has found out that the enemy is suffering just as much and wants to bring a end to the suffering.
Age and pilot experience doesn't mean much in Gundam universe. Uso Ewin is also 13 y/o and no experience but for some reason he can pilot V Gundam and kill plenty of enemy trained pilots.
The next Gundam pilot might be a toddler who borne Newtype/Coordinator/Innovator/X-rounder or any other bullshit superhuman ability that Sunrise will come up with.
I agree. Just because someone does not want to kill others does not make that person annoying. This is especally true when the character in question has seen the other side of the conflict.
I think what makes Kio annoying is not his willingness to not kill anybody but the fact that he still doesn't have any resolution for both side. All he does is telling everyone to talk things out and stop killing while he is still piloting FED MS. If Sunrise want AGE to follow SEED route they should make Kio joining his dad to fight both sides and ends the war between Vegan and earth.
Oh man, they should have done this way sooner. Another potential plot being way underdeveloped. Stop using half-assed "flash back during battle" as a mean for plot development Sunrise, It DOES not work, it didn't work in 00 it doesn't work now, when will you ever learn? Oh yeah, you have the same team taking care of Age, man, the tragedy.
I really hope that they change Kios "no kill, lets understand" way of fighting into something less SEED like and say, take a page from Rurouni Kenshin...yea, odd combination but without a solid reason right now, Kio's just Destiny Kira rather than end of SEED Kira.
I hate Girard sooo much. Why did this series do this? This is 0083 all over again; they give us some psycho, revenge obsessed lady (a la Cima Garahau) and expect us, the viewers to sympathize with them as if they're some sort of tragic hero. I don't care about Girard's childish vendetta with the feds, if the show wanted to make me care they could've at leas made the character likeable... This was probably the most disappointing episode so far, nothing but a filler if you ask me. I swear, if they drag this moon base assault scenario by one more episode without any plot development I'm gunna freaking lose it.
