My favorite grunt unit is Strike Freedom. wait.. that's no grunt. Ok, RX-78 then, by 2014 RX-78-2 must be a mass produced cannon fodder.
Technically speaking, all iconic gundams must be grunt unit on the next series. Double X will be a grunt unit on Seed, and Strike Freedom will be grunt unit on 00 Gundam. Bleeding edge today, inferior tomorrow. That's how technology works.
I'm not much of a fan of grunt units. But if I had to choose 1, I would have to go with the Flag (Celestial Being ver). I'm still hoping that we do get that guy as an MG. I know that it wasn't used much at all, but even as a P-Bandai exclusive release, I'd like to get it as an MG.
Why I liked it? Setsuna was a badass piloting it, even though it lacked GN technologies.
Wasn't Bandai planning on doing an HG and or MG for the Flag (Celestial Being ver)? What the heck happened to it?
That is not a grunt suit. It is a custom suit. If only one was produce than its not a grunt it falls into the custom category. By your logic the blue destiny unit would be a grunt since its based on the ground gundam. But its not because it was never mass produced.
There is no way you can call Celestial Being's flag a grunt unit. I mean it's piloted by the lead protagonist. And nothing custom can be called a grunt unit.
Does any of you actually think suiton would know a single thing about what he's talking about? He just saw a chance to spam his wiShit-list. I also like the fact that Suiton's logic for liking an MS design is if it belongs on his wiShitlist or not...
wait... why would something be on his wishlist unless if he liked the ms design? circular logic is circular...
seriously, what i really hate about the gunpla community is how eager people are to jump on this one guy whenever he voices his opinions, no matter what he says. okay, so hes obsessed with seed and 00 designs? wants them as kits? its okay for you to disagree, but you dont need to be an ass about it.
Touche. While I do not agree with everything Suiton says or likes (I do not like Seed nor 00) he has every right to voice his opinion and like what he likes. Nobody wants nor should be to be attacked for being who they are or like what they like. Nobody likes to be attacked for voicing their opinions. I sure do not want to be attacked for being obsessed with Char's Neo Zeon, Mass produced MS and disliking the AU stuff (except Turn A and Build Fighters). I am sure you guys do not want to be attacked for having your preferences. The important thing to remember is that we should set aside this petty hostility against each other and remember that we belong in a niche but diverse community; one bloomed out of our love for Gundam.
@ Anon 813 "This one guy" you're taking about is one of the most infamous Gundam trolls, alongside the Gundam-hating codename:v. Even though some commenters gave suiton very offensive responses, it actually prevents him to do another trolling although it is a temporary solution.
Regular ppl logic would be that if you like the design, you'd want it. Suiton logic is you like the design BECAUSE you want it.
Dont make suiton sound like the victim, cuz he is not. A person that goes around spamming his implausible wishlists (going to the extent of creating new blogs just so he can keep spamming the same wishlists), not listening to anyone, begging for crap, bragging about the models he buys but refuses to show them cuz he actually doesnt build any (and claiming he doesnt show them cuz he gets negative comments, though that never stopped him from spamming and doing all the other crap he does, including, you know, refusing to show his built models), begging for free crap, creating alternate accounts and personas (like dioypm, who he created to pass off as a noob, that got the names so ridiculously wrong it could only be fake, but otherwise posted the same crap wishlists as usual. There are many other fake usernames though) he can proceed with spamming, blocking ppl from his channel if they so much as disagree with him, downright lying that he has this other immensely popular channel, forum, blog with tons of followers (but refusing to show any evidence of this) when ppl politely suggested he should try and change his attitude, making random contests with totally arbitrary rules that changed based on how much he wanted ppl to suck up to him, harassing ppl he made deals with via text messages, adding ppl to random emailing lists when he gets their address, PMing channel owners telling them they should block ppl who he doesnt like, trying to act as PR for GG and all buddy buddy in the hopes of, I dunno, getting more attention? A sponsorship, maybe (LOL)? Anyway, a person who does all of this, brought it all on himself. No one else on the community comes even close to being this hated, so there's this saying, "where there's smoke, there's fire" Do you really think it's the whole community that's wrong here, or this one guy who refuses to change his attitude to a community that many times tried to give him a chance? Like I said, Suiton has it coming, and I'm sad to say he deserves it
@z'gok We all have our obsessions. I obsess over ZOE orbital frames. But you dont see me spamming the hell out of it, going completely off topic just to spam my crap, as I also don't see you do the same. The line is drawn where your opinion starts to annoy the shit out of an entire community, who is sick and tired of listening to it. Let's put it this way. Say you go to a store. You have your taste. Would you enjoy yourself there if there was this really obnoxious costumer there, going around telling everyone how much he likes some random stuff that that store doesnt even sell, and bragging that he bought some stuff, even after everyone in the store asked him to be quiet? This community is very diverse, and everyone has his or her taste. Some hate seed, others love. Some are UC lovers, others cant stand it. Some are very vocal and offensive about it, even. But if there's one thing that brings the whole community together, it's its despise of suiton
@ Concerned User You are very right on that. I have noticed that of behaviour of his at times which I do not agree to, but at the same time I think that some people attack him in a just as silly and obnoxious fashion. I think the best thing is to ignore when he is being annoying and respect his opinions and likes when he is not doing those things.
@Z'gok People have been trying to do just that for a long time, believe me. Many respected ppl in the community even tried to give him advice, be his friend. He refused and ignored them or gave some condescending reply along the lines of "I do what I want, and you're silly because I have this other channel where ppl love me". I kid you not, he says stuff like this. Pretty soon ppl will start attacking him, simply because they cant stand him anymore, and he keeps forcing himself in. he hasnt shown a single drop of respect for anyone on this community (he only talks to ppl who basically agree with his crap, and all he talks about are wishlists, or how he can help them be so famous, if they're willing to offer him free stuff), so why should we respect him? He started all of this and he's the one who needs to gain respect back. Remember, respect is earned. in a equal measure as it's given. And like I said, can you ignore a costumer that keeps forcing himself on everyone in the store? Do we ask every single one to ignore the source of disturbance? Cuz everywhere you go, you're sure to find suiton and his wishlists, except maybe for facebook and forums, where he's been banned everywhere. Respecting his opinion would be ok, if he had one. He doesnt. He just spams his wishlists and makes it pass as opinion. He's not interested in discussion or debating different opinions. In his mind, either you agree with his wishlists, or you're a retarded hater
Skygrasper! Slick aircraft with utility function. I believe the construction cost of a skygrasper is cheaper than a Zaku, a GM, an Adele, a Gouf, or than many of the Grunt. With a pair of tricky hands, it could be a "hit-and-run" cruel unit!
They don't say it should be an MS... You could be right though... but it is still could be mass produced... Too bad Heliopolis has been reduced to the crisp
From the EFSF, I would say the Jegan, because it's the MS that comes from a large line of updates in performance, weaponry, and technology, and it comes from the GM, that it's the stripped down MS that has the RX-78-2 as prototype. From Zeon, The Zudah, the backstory that it was given to it in MS IGLOO, make me fall in love with it, and in my honest opinion, they should make a Gundam anime of a What If? situation, if Zeon and the EFF could have used their discarded models, and make them better, improve their flaws, and see what could have happened, what road the OYW could have taken
Oh gosh... that's a tough one. For Feddies, it's gotta be the GM Sniper II. It's not even that fair if you ask me... since it seems more like a high-powered custom suit (especially for it's time). Can't beat the "cool" factor of that slide-down sensor.
For the Zeon, hands-down for me it's the Zaku II F2. Nothing says "ground pounder" like the beefy bulky look of a Zaku in general, but the F2 design really nailed that in. Armor over the cockpit looked like that of a Gouf Custom, put some cool armor on the head unit, give it some jump jets... classic 0083 design that has won me over.
The Zee Zulu is my favorite. In Unicorn it looked so awesome coming out of the water with its fins and claws. Then it just drops them and pulls a machine gun out of hits backpack thing. I just really like the idea of an amphibious suit like that.
Here you are. Top row from left to right: GM Cannon II, Aqua GM, GM Kai (space use), GM Cannon, GM (White Dingo ver.) Bottom row left to right: GM Custom, GM Quel, GM Striker, GM Sniper II, GM Sniper II (White Dingo ver.) Guntank with a truly spherical RB-79 ball in its arm.
my favorite is the Z'Gok. always loved the grunts, i think they somehow look more "realistic" compared to the Gundams, which always look more like super robots.
It's bit hard and will be long list if I put all my favourite here, but I think this is my list of most favourite: -GM Striker -GM Sniper II -GM Custom -Zaku Cannon -Zudah -Asshimar -Nemo -Barzam -Nero -Jegan ECOAS -Z Plus ( I think it can be listed as grunt because it's "economic" version of Z, and one of mainpower of Karaba Air Force) -Gouf Flight Type -G Cannon -Den'an Zon -Zoloat -Death Army (lol) -Taurus -Daughtress -Jenice -Flint -Kapool -FLAT -Zssan
..... and it still be a long list, I'll stop on Turn A. There's favourite grunts on Seed, GSD, 00 and AGE but I think I'll stop.
Thank you :D. What I like about CV's MS is their design really speaks about how space empire's soldiers must be. And don't forget about shot lancer, yes that shot lancer. One of the innovative weapon on late-UC after VSBR.
You are most welcome. That is true. They have really great and aggressive MS design. That shot lancer is such a unique weapon. I love the scenes in F91 that show Jegans and heavyguns get impaled by them. I like the Den'an Gei as well.
For the Zekes: Kampfer, I love the concept behind the suit, just wish it had a bit more armor For the Feddies: Jesta, love how it's almost the ultimate expression of the basic GM design.
That's a toughie since grunts are a favorite of mine. This will definitely have multiple answers since I could never pick just one. If I'm going old.school, that Bawoo was a sexy transformable mobile suit that takes place on my list only behind Kampfer and it's pure hit and run based design. If I'm going more recent, I have to go with the guard version of the Geara Zulu.
Now for the Federation this gets a little easier for me since not too many of their designs really stand out to me. The Jegan is one of my favorites because it's just indescribably awesome for a basic workhorse grunt suit. Once again I'll throw in a transformable mobile suit or two since the Federation has quite a few I like. That being said, the Zeta plus C1 is a beautiful machine that I tie with the more recent Delta plus. Finally I can't not mention the Jesta, that is just a beautiful design.
Outside of universal century, I'll always be a fan of the Virgo, and Taurus units from Wing. I also really liked the Blaze Zaku Phantom from seed.
the GN-XIV, gm sniper II, gm comand, geara doga, geara zulu, Guaiz and the adele mark II (space type) in mass production; in limited production well the over flag, gouf custom, jesta, gelgoog jäger.
UNION/OVER FLAGS FROM GUNDAM OO. The flag design is simply amazing and cool. And the way GRAHAM AKER used and maximised the suits' agilities and speed was just a form of skills that no other pilot could do in that series. Like it stood 1v1 against the gundams whose base performance are so much better than a flag! He nearly killed/destroyed setsuna/exia with just a flag! Also, the flag's base design lasted all the way from S1 till the movie! S1: GN FLAG! S2: SUSANOWO! M: BRAVE! The flag should totally deserve more love and a MG vers.
It has a overall nice sleek design and while it got shot down a lot when natural pilots were using it, Its true potential was shown whenNeo/Mu was flying one.
Well, how do you pick just one. From UC, for the EFSF it is the Jegan and Stark Jegan. The scene from Unicorn #1 where the Stark Jegan nearly wastes a vastly superior Kshatriya sealed that. Also, in #6 when a Jegan grabs Banshee's horn and almost stabs in in the face. The fact there is no MG version of the Jegan is downright criminal. For Zeon, I really like the Dom. The fact that is such a big suit but is very maneuverable and agile makes it really cool.
From OO I really liked the Flag. The Adele from Age is my favorite. I love the Maganac.
A tie between the MVF-M11C Murasame and OZ-12SMS Taurus. Both machines are able to take on Gundams like no one else. They're extremely fast, possess a variable frame with a pretty awesome flight form and adaptability to take any battlefront. The Murasame is basically the pinnacle of ORB's military force with bleeding edge technology. They're the only force in CE with the brains to produce such high end mobile suits.
The Taurus was the first mass produced mobile suit to carry beam weapons, evening the odds with the Gundams who were immune to solid shell weaponry and when they were operated by the mobile dolls, became a deadly force due to the inhuman g-forces they could produce with their sheer speed. Trowa even once brought up the capabilities of its ranged weapons when he dual wielded both of its weapons. The Taurus was the second most widely used mobile suit after the Leo and quite literally every single faction in the war used them from OZ to even the Sanc Kingdom. Even a whole year after the war, Tauruses still saw active use even after the new Serpent mobile suits were produced. I have no idea why the Taurus doesn't get a whole lot of attention but I would reason that why it doesn't have variants is because it doesn't need any. It's perfect as it is.
Gundam Seed Zaku Warrior and Gouf Ignited. Leo (would love a decent kit) Jegan (want an MG bandai!) Zaku FZ (MG! wanted. Should have got one instead of Kampher. Was more important but oh well)
My favorite is the Gouf Custom, because it is just simply badass and it had an ace Norris Packerd as its pilot. That is my favorite for the Zeon/bad guys. For the good guys its the GM Custom from 0083. The Windam and The M1 Astray from Gundam seed Destiny.
My favourite will be GM Ground type/GM Sniper (since they are basically same design with diffeent colour) since both its colour (especially GM sniper) seem to be one of the most realistic and the way they portrayed and moved in story (anime and manga)and games also feel more realistic and sometime give a "ragged" and "heavy" feel. It can also equipped with variety of weapons and a weapons rack which is a plus.
Well technically non-UC series have grunts, but they are portrayed in a near useless (especially the ones in Wing) fashion in comparison to the ones in UC which constantly blow things up and put up something of a fight. That however has to do with the way pilots themselves are portrayed and not the mechs so it is justifiable for people to bring out their favourite grunts from non UC series onto this thread.
Not-so-obvious troll but it's obvious you're just trying to mock 00 and Seed fanboiz, lol. I always thought UC fans are quite grown up but I'm surprised your attitude is no different than AGE fanboiz. lmao
I would personally say the GN-X series, most preferably the ones in AWoT, but I also love the Geara Zulu, the Over Flag and the Astray. But do the Jestas count as grunts or special mobile suits? If they are grunts, easily my favorite.
If you are talking about the ball of the old man from crossbone gundam. That time is just luck beside you should read crossbone skullheart, it show that ball is a customize work with extra armor that looklike a gundam head and so heavy that can crush a Dom when ejected
I have favorites from different timelines but if I had to pick just one, it would be the Overflags. UC - Zaku II, Gouf and Custom, Geara Zulu, Zoloat CE - Ginn, Zaku and Goufs 00 - Overflag and Tieren AG - Genoace and Clanche
People are forgetting the two most dangerous grunt M.S The Virgo and the Serpents those two types were quite the terror in their time, same as the Gafran M.S from Age
Gafran, ReZEL, Genoace, GM III, GNX, Over Flag, Heavygun, and the G-Cannon! Am i the only one who knows what a G-Cannon is? F91 is really underrated...
The OG MS-06J Zaku II. Why? It's basically the AK-47 of mobile suits. -There is a seemingly infinite amount of units -The number of mods on it are plain ridiculous -In the right hands, a Zaku II can kick ass even in U.C. 94.
Gundam leopard, it basicly a mass product ver of gundam Heavyarm Civilian Astray DSSD type, a non combat MS took dwon a gundam-type GM-Sniper 2 the slide visor Zeta plus C2, high speed, sniper, mass produce version of Zeta Jegan Murasame, Z+ of SEED Genoace 2, it so good that it cake take on a pirate G-Bouncer Flag series(Union, Over, Shell Flag) Zaku FZ the armor look awesome Hy-gogg, best marine of OYW Cgue, Gouf of SEED Gouf Ignite Forbidden Vortex
Union Flag. Sleek looks and in the right hands can actually be a threat.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite grunt unit is Strike Freedom. wait.. that's no grunt. Ok, RX-78 then, by 2014 RX-78-2 must be a mass produced cannon fodder.

Hooray for an attempt of spamming an entry of your unending wishlist, Charles Kim Jong Un!!!
DeleteCelestial Being's Flag is more of a Custom Grunt MS instead of a pure Mass Production MS
Deletehow is it a grunt unit if it's specifically modified to be unique and for a protag to use...
DeleteThat is not a grunt suit. It is a custom suit. If only one was produce than its not a grunt it falls into the custom category. By your logic the blue destiny unit would be a grunt since its based on the ground gundam. But its not because it was never mass produced.

Leos because they're very weak...!!!
ReplyDeleteI kinda like the Over Flags. I don't really like those "roundish" guys.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite grunt is Gm custom : Good-looking, useful and designed by Hajime Katoki !
ReplyDeletei don't know if its a considered a grunt but i love the ReZEL, it transforms and i love that.
ReplyDeleteJegan.... Bandai where the hell is the MG Jegan?
ReplyDeleteBy far it is the standard Geara Doga. Following it would be the Dreissen, Jegan, Rick Dom II the Zssa and the Ga-Zowmn. Yes I am an Izubuchi fan.
ReplyDeleteFrom the original series only? If so, the Guncannon.
ReplyDeleteBut If from any series, the ReZEL.

The granddaddy of all enemy grunts, the Zaku II

ReplyDeleteMS-11 Action Zaku and the MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai.
ReplyDeleteGouf custom. epic battle ever.
ReplyDeleteGM Sniper II all the way! I especially love its White Dingo incarnation! :D

-GM Sniper II
-GM Custom
-Zaku Cannon
-Zudah
-Asshimar
-Nemo
-Barzam
-Nero
-Jegan ECOAS
-Z Plus ( I think it can be listed as grunt because it's "economic" version of Z, and one of mainpower of Karaba Air Force)
-Gouf Flight Type
-G Cannon
-Den'an Zon
-Zoloat
-Death Army (lol)
-Taurus
-Daughtress
-Jenice
-Flint
-Kapool
-FLAT
-Zssan
..... and it still be a long list, I'll stop on Turn A. There's favourite grunts on Seed, GSD, 00 and AGE but I think I'll stop.
You have splendid tastes. Oh my I forgot about listing the Den'an Zon. Such a splendid design with such an horror inspiring head.
DeleteThank you :D. What I like about CV's MS is their design really speaks about how space empire's soldiers must be. And don't forget about shot lancer, yes that shot lancer. One of the innovative weapon on late-UC after VSBR.
DeleteYou are most welcome. That is true. They have really great and aggressive MS design. That shot lancer is such a unique weapon. I love the scenes in F91 that show Jegans and heavyguns get impaled by them. I like the Den'an Gei as well.
DeleteDifficult as i love grunts
ReplyDeleteZaku Warrior from seed destiny
Dagger 105 from seed
Gouf Custom from 8th ms
Gelgoog from UC
G-Bouncer from AGE
G-Bouncer is custom MS, cannot categorized as grunt.
DeleteMaybe the Shaldolls, though those are G-exes I guess.
DeletePowered GM and GM Sniper II on Fedi side and Zaku 2 FZ / F2, Geara Zulu from Zeon.
ReplyDeleteFor the Zekes: Kampfer, I love the concept behind the suit, just wish it had a bit more armor
ReplyDeleteFor the Feddies: Jesta, love how it's almost the ultimate expression of the basic GM design.
ReplyDeleteNow for the Federation this gets a little easier for me since not too many of their designs really stand out to me.
Is this limited to Mobile Suit Gundam or overall?
ReplyDeleteI'll say Union Flag because it transforms, and Gouf because it's no Zaku.
Zeta Plus (Grey color scheme) and the ReZEL
ReplyDeleteJesta. Those guys look simple, yet loaded at the same time (with black paint job to boot too :D)
ReplyDeletethe GN-XIV, gm sniper II, gm comand, geara doga, geara zulu, Guaiz and the adele mark II (space type) in mass production; in limited production well the over flag, gouf custom, jesta, gelgoog jäger.
ReplyDeleteYes! Another Geara Doga fan!
DeleteUNION/OVER FLAGS FROM GUNDAM OO.
ReplyDeleteFor UC, GM Sniper II easily. For non-UC probably the Union Flag.
ReplyDeleteByarlant Custom?
ReplyDeleteGuntank, it's obvious.
ReplyDeletecoz building MG Guntank is harder than MG SF, lol
What gunpla builders are those 2 characters from?
ReplyDeleteGundam Build Fighters: Honoo, I guess. The boy on the right uses the Gundam Hyper Zeta Honoo.
DeleteThe WIindam from Seed Destiny
ReplyDeleteIt has a overall nice sleek design and while it got shot down a lot when natural pilots were using it, Its true potential was shown whenNeo/Mu was flying one.
JEGAN, JEGAN, JEGAN power!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite grunts are:
ReplyDelete- MSJ-06II-A Tieren (Gundam 00)
- OZ-07AMS Aries, WMS-03 Maganac (Wing)
- M1 Astray, ZGMF-1017 GINN (Seed)
- ZM-S06S Zoloat (V Gundam)
- RMS-006G Jenice Kai (Gundam X)
Well, how do you pick just one. From UC, for the EFSF it is the Jegan and Stark Jegan. The scene from Unicorn #1 where the Stark Jegan nearly wastes a vastly superior Kshatriya sealed that. Also, in #6 when a Jegan grabs Banshee's horn and almost stabs in in the face. The fact there is no MG version of the Jegan is downright criminal. For Zeon, I really like the Dom. The fact that is such a big suit but is very maneuverable and agile makes it really cool.
ReplyDeleteFrom OO I really liked the Flag. The Adele from Age is my favorite. I love the Maganac.
Dagger. I don't know why.. I just like em
ReplyDeleteA tie between the MVF-M11C Murasame and OZ-12SMS Taurus.
ReplyDeleteThe Taurus was the first mass produced mobile suit to carry beam weapons, evening the odds with the Gundams who were immune to solid shell weaponry and when they were operated by the mobile dolls, became a deadly force due to the inhuman g-forces they could produce with their sheer speed. It's perfect as it is.
virgo from gundam wing.
ReplyDeletePlease give us MG Tieren, da best grunt ever!
ReplyDeleteRGM-96X Jesta. Dark, inconspicuous color scheme and its Beam Carbine has that tacticool look.
ReplyDeleteEither the flag, tarous, gm sniper ii, gouf, danazine (the really dragony one from age's 3rd gen) or m1-astray
ReplyDeleteGundam Seed Zaku Warrior and Gouf Ignited.
ReplyDeleteLeo (would love a decent kit)
Jegan (want an MG bandai!)
Zaku FZ (MG! wanted. Should have got one instead of Kampher. Was more important but oh well)
ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam and ofcours ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom
ReplyDeleteObvious troll is obvious...
DeleteMy favorite is the Gouf Custom, because it is just simply badass and it had an ace Norris Packerd as its pilot. That is my favorite for the Zeon/bad guys. For the good guys its the GM Custom from 0083. The Windam and The M1 Astray from Gundam seed Destiny.
ReplyDeleteEither the GM 2 zaku 2 or ReZel commander type
ReplyDeleteMy favourite will be GM Ground type/GM Sniper (since they are basically same design with diffeent colour) since both its colour (especially GM sniper) seem to be one of the most realistic and the way they portrayed and moved in story (anime and manga)and games also feel more realistic and sometime give a "ragged" and "heavy" feel. It can also equipped with variety of weapons and a weapons rack which is a plus.
ReplyDeleteMe? I'm not a very fan of grunt units but I like only GM Sniper II, GM Striker, Zaku II, Gundam Ground Type, Union Flag, that's only my favourite
ReplyDeletePeople saying "grunts" from series other than UC... lmao.
ReplyDeleteGrunts are the fodder of the Feddies and Zeon, not the Celestial Fairies and pansy SEED factions.
Also, Gouf. Any Gouf. Gouf are the best.
Grunts are simply regular soldiers the term is older than the show so shut up you stupid uc fanboy...
DeleteAlso got to agree about the gouf one of my overall favorite suits
Well technically non-UC series have grunts, but they are portrayed in a near useless (especially the ones in Wing) fashion in comparison to the ones in UC which constantly blow things up and put up something of a fight. That however has to do with the way pilots themselves are portrayed and not the mechs so it is justifiable for people to bring out their favourite grunts from non UC series onto this thread.
DeleteIf it still have purpose as shooting target or cannon fodder for both protags and villains it'll be grunt, regardless the timeline.
DeleteGouf custom was a badass mobile suit.
DeleteYes, Goufs are the best regardless of series or timeline.
DeleteNot-so-obvious troll but it's obvious you're just trying to mock 00 and Seed fanboiz, lol.
DeleteI always thought UC fans are quite grown up but I'm surprised your attitude is no different than AGE fanboiz. lmao
My favorite is the ReZel from Gundam unicorn. It is pretty much the zeta gundam, but mass-produced.
ReplyDeleteGustav karl, last direct descendant of the GM.
ReplyDeleteI would personally say the GN-X series, most preferably the ones in AWoT, but I also love the Geara Zulu, the Over Flag and the Astray. But do the Jestas count as grunts or special mobile suits? If they are grunts, easily my favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite grunt would probably be either the Tieren (because of it's base design) or the Zaku II (because who doesn't love the Zaku?).
ReplyDeleteThe ball... that's kinda a ms... right... and I mean come on, just one can take out 3 doms all by itself.
ReplyDeleteIf you are talking about the ball of the old man from crossbone gundam. That time is just luck beside you should read crossbone skullheart, it show that ball is a customize work with extra armor that looklike a gundam head and so heavy that can crush a Dom when ejected
Deletegrunt unit ? i like :
ReplyDelete- GM Quel (TITANS)
- Serpent Custom (Endless Waltz)
- Maguanac
- Zeta Plus
- G Cannon Magna
My Favorite Units for UC Grunts are GM Command, RGZ-91 Re-GZ, Rick Dom and Rick Dias
ReplyDeleteFor AC Taurus and Serpent Custom
For CE Windam, M1 Astray, Blaze Zaku and Gouf Ignited
I quite like the GN-X series for 00 Gouf Ignited for Seed and Stark Jagen for UC
ReplyDeleteOver Flag and Delta Plus.
ReplyDeleteDelta Plus is considered as grunt, right? Sorry, I honestly don't know.
GM Striker is the best!! It's not a mere "grunt" that will be destroyed after one beam shot from the zeek :D
ReplyDeleteZaku II Sieg Zeon
ReplyDeleteEither the Rezel or the Stark Jegan from Unicorn.
ReplyDeleteThe Geara Zulu because nothing says "I'm evil but I'm also mediocre" like a Nazi Zaku.
ReplyDeleteDoes Re-GZ count?
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of grunt suits, but since it didn't get much of a mention I will just say marasai from zeta with maybe a mention to the aries from wing.
ReplyDeleteThe Dagger units from SEED. They can be fitted with different Striker Packs
ReplyDeleteI have favorites from different timelines but if I had to pick just one, it would be the Overflags.
ReplyDeleteUC - Zaku II, Gouf and Custom, Geara Zulu, Zoloat
CE - Ginn, Zaku and Goufs
00 - Overflag and Tieren
AG - Genoace and Clanche
GM Custom from the UC! If you've got one, your a man of destiny :) .
ReplyDeleteDaughtress from Gundam X, first time I saw it in GX fell in love with it immediately.
Zaku I, II etc and all of it's variant & Geara Zulu!!, feels like an "updated" Zaku II.
ReplyDeleteZaku 1: In the universal century it has high historical significances as the first Combat Mobile Suit to be used in the Theater of the one year war.
ReplyDeletePeople are forgetting the two most dangerous grunt M.S
ReplyDeleteThe Virgo and the Serpents those two types were quite the terror in their time, same as the Gafran M.S from Age
G-Line GM, Powered GM, Zaku II MS-06J, Zaku MS-06FS, Dom Tropen. qubeley mk2
ReplyDeleteQubeley ain't no grunt... least not the mk ii now the mass produced ones would be
DeleteMock from Build Fighter. Hahahaha
ReplyDeleteOn serious note, it's the "i can't find any fricking sign of the HG or MG sold in my country" Jesta. That damn thing was sold out everywhere.
Let's see... mine is the Genoace, Shaldoll custom, Zaku II F2, the Tieren-class suits, and Over Flag.
ReplyDeleteDont know if you count gm striker as a grunt unit but thats my fav
ReplyDeleteGafran, ReZEL, Genoace, GM III, GNX, Over Flag, Heavygun, and the G-Cannon! Am i the only one who knows what a G-Cannon is? F91 is really underrated...
ReplyDeleteThe OG MS-06J Zaku II.
ReplyDeleteWhy? It's basically the AK-47 of mobile suits.
-There is a seemingly infinite amount of units
-The number of mods on it are plain ridiculous
-In the right hands, a Zaku II can kick ass even in U.C. 94.

ReplyDeleteFor Feddy grunts, I'd go with the Jegan, GM Custom, GM (Cold District Type) and the GM Sniper 2.
ReplyDeleteFor Zeon grunts, I'd go with the Zaku 2 F2, Gelgoog, Zaku 1 Sniper and the Kampfer (does that one count?).
In my case it's the:
ReplyDelete- RGM-89 Jegan
- MSA-003 Nemo
- RGM-96X Jesta
- GM Sniper II
- GM Striker
Zaku II seems to be a mass produced, but tough mobile suit, and like the old tiger tanks, there seems to be no end of variants.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGundam leopard, it basicly a mass product ver of gundam Heavyarm
ReplyDeleteCivilian Astray DSSD type, a non combat MS took dwon a gundam-type
GM-Sniper 2 the slide visor
Zeta plus C2, high speed, sniper, mass produce version of Zeta
Jegan
Murasame, Z+ of SEED
Genoace 2, it so good that it cake take on a pirate G-Bouncer
Flag series(Union, Over, Shell Flag)
Zaku FZ the armor look awesome
Hy-gogg, best marine of OYW
