PSP: Gundam Memories ~ Tatakai no Kioku - Announced!!!

PSP: Gundam Memories ~ Tatakai no Kioku (Release Date: Jun. 23rd 2011, Price: TBA)
Weekly Famitsu has a first look this week at the latest Gundam game adaptation, Gundam Memories: Tatakai no Kioku (that can possibly translate to "Memories of the Battle.")
This upcoming PSP Gundam action game title features the MS Shift System that allows player to begin each mission by choosing 3 mobile suits, in which the player can switch between during the mission.  Mobile suits are catagorized into three categories: Melee Type (ie. Gundam 00 Qan[T]), Speed Type (ie. Arios Gundam), and Shooting Type (ie. Kshatriya and Strike Freedom Gundam).

Two modes of gameplay will be available:
Situation Mode: has missions that follows the storyline of Seed Destiny, 00 (Series & Movie), and Gundam UC.
Mission Mode: features original missions created for the game.
The following Gundam series will be featured in this game:
Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Z Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack
Mobile Suit Gundam X
Gundam W Endless Waltz
Gundam Seed Destiny
Gundam 00 (including 2nd season)
Gundam 00: A wakening of the Trailblazer Movie
Gundam UC (Unicorn Gundam)
Really looking forward to another fun portable Gundam action game for my PSP.  From the screenshots above, the game looks to depart from the PSP Gundam Assault Survive's mission area branching gameplay, which I personally wouldn't miss too much of.  And with the 3 switchable mobile suits during gameplay, loads of recent Gundam series' mobile suits, and the time tested Gundam Battle Series type of gameplay.... I say we got a nice little PSP Gudnam title to look forward to this year.
