MG 1/100 Epyon Officially Announced - Hobby Magazine (Apr. Issue)

  4. I mean, I can't say for sure, but it has to be the tv ver. No such ver ka exists. However, you never know.

  5. It's a newly designed Endless Waltz version, thus ver.Ka, and it will be appearing in the Glory of the Defeated manga.

    Compare, the original has 3 wing segments this has two. Also the original has two spikes on the leg and one on the ankle, this has one on the leg and one on the ankle. Also the chest is VERY different.

  8. Yeah I did some research on Gundam Australia, it really does seem like this is just going to be a remake then...looks like this one's gonna get scratched off my list =/

    Really? I don't think you should give up on this kit just yet, its an amazing looking redesign. At least wait until its in color.

  10. It's got the same silhouette and only looks vaguely different, but it's still going to be awesome! As long as the color's the same, it's a sure thing for me!
    The thing needed a design clean-up, anyway...

    I don't really like Katoki's style, and I certainly don't like his remakes of the GW suits (excluding 02, but it's still not better than the original :P)

  12. Oh well that makes sense. I particularly love Katoki's designs on an equal level as the Okawara ones. Well theres always a chance they'll continue the Okawara designs later on.

  13. I'm gonna be honest, I highly doubt they will. But if it does happen I will buy them all. After all, I'm still waiting for a Heavy Arms (tv or kai) 1/100 scale model, they didn't make one (or sandrock for that matter) with the HG line way back when.

  14. So it is not a TV epyon, so... I was right on the rumor thread.
    The differences are minor though. I think I will have to get it, to display along with my W0 custom and the eventually released nataku.
